What Kitchen & Bathroom Plumbing Services We Provide

Kitchens and bathrooms take more daily wear than any other room in the house, and the plumbing behind them has to hold up to it. Aqua Blue installs, repairs, and upgrades fixtures and lines for homes and businesses across Northern New Jersey, from a single leaking faucet to a full gut renovation. We’re fully licensed and insured to handle the supply lines, drains, and gas connections a kitchen or bath remodel depends on, and we’ve built our reputation on luxury residential and commercial projects where there’s no room for a callback. Most calls are scheduled within the same week.

That includes faucet and fixture installation, sink and drain repair, toilet replacement, shower and tub plumbing, and full kitchen or bathroom remodel plumbing, all performed under NJ Master Plumber License #6942. We serve Paramus, Saddle River, Ho-Ho-Kus, Tenafly, Closter, Franklin Lakes, Englewood Cliffs, and the surrounding Bergen County area. We don’t handle appliance repair unrelated to plumbing connections (a broken oven heating element, for example) — every job we take on touches water, drain, or gas lines. Every job gets an in-person look before we quote it.

Kitchen & Bathroom Plumbing in Bergen County
Local Knowledge

Built for Bergen County’s Older Housing Stock

A lot of Bergen County’s kitchens and bathrooms sit on plumbing that’s original to a decades-old house — galvanized supply lines, outdated shutoffs, and drain configurations that don’t match current code. A generalist swapping in a new faucet without checking what’s behind it can turn a simple job into a bigger problem. Aqua Blue serves 6 towns across Bergen County — Saddle River, Ho-Ho-Kus, Tenafly, Closter, Franklin Lakes, and Englewood Cliffs — plus Paramus and the wider Northern NJ region, and every job is backed by our fully insured workmanship guarantee.

Licensed plumbing work by Aqua Blue
Why Aqua Blue

Why a Licensed Plumber — Not a General Contractor

General contractors and handymen can legally do plenty of remodel work, but under N.J.A.C. 5:23 (New Jersey Uniform Construction Code), only a licensed plumber can touch supply lines, drains, and gas connections — the parts of a kitchen or bath remodel that actually carry the most risk if they’re done wrong. We’ve done this work in Saddle River estates, Tenafly renovations, and Closter kitchen remodels, where the plumbing has to be right the first time because there’s no room to reopen a finished wall. We pull the permit, schedule the inspection, and manage that entire process on your behalf, so you’re not coordinating between three different contractors.

Pricing, Explained

Cost & Pricing

Kitchen and bathroom plumbing pricing depends on the scope of the job — a single fixture swap versus a full remodel with rerouted lines — and how much access the work requires. We don’t give blind quotes over the phone; every price is based on an actual look at your space, so the number we give you is the number you pay. See our Luxury Residential Plumbing guide for typical ranges.

What’s the difference between a fixture swap and a full remodel plumbing job?
A fixture swap reuses the existing supply and drain locations — a new faucet or toilet on the same lines. A remodel job relocates fixtures, which means rerouting drains and supply lines and usually opening a wall or floor. We’ll tell you which one your project actually is before we quote it, since the price and timeline are very different.
Who handles a curbless shower or freestanding tub installation?
That work goes to our licensed plumbers directly — a curbless shower in particular needs an exact drain slope set before the tile goes down, and it’s not something we subcontract out. We set every line to the fixture spec and pressure-test the space before it’s closed in.
What’s involved in moving a sink or toilet to a new location?
It depends on the scope. Moving fixtures, altering drain lines, or touching gas connections typically requires a permit under N.J.A.C. 5:23 (New Jersey Uniform Construction Code) and inspection in most Bergen County municipalities. A simple fixture swap usually doesn’t. We’ll tell you upfront whether your project needs one, and handle the paperwork if it does.
Is a slow drain or dripping faucet a plumbing emergency?
Usually not, but it’s worth addressing before it becomes a full clog or a bigger leak. A burst supply line, active leak, or complete drain backup is an emergency — call us right away. A slow drain or minor drip can typically be scheduled during regular hours instead.
How long do kitchen and bathroom fixtures typically last before needing service?
Most faucets and valves last 10–15 years, water heaters 8–12 years, and original supply lines in older Bergen County homes can be original to the house and well past their intended service life. If your fixtures are original and the home is more than 20 years old, it’s worth having them looked at even without an active problem.
